UK Re-infusion Study With Virxsys

The Virxsys clinical trial is authorizing a reinfusion of some of the patients from phase II, who did not respond well over a sustained period of time.

I qualified in that category, but UK did not get the program running within the one year requirement for re-infusion, which knocked me out of the second study.

My over all health is good, with the exception of some I. B. S. and muscle pain in my left leg. The nueropathy is under control but remains to be a nagging problem from time to time, as will as R. L. S. I am currently on the following meds:

ANTI-Virals
Fuzeon injections
viread
combivir

Nuerology
Nuerontin
Cymbalta
Ropinirole (RLS)

Pain Management
darvocet as needed

Gastroentrology
Previcid
Lomatol as needed

Migrian Control
Topamax

Hypertension
Metoprolol
Lisinopril

Allergy
Certzine Hydrochloride (generic brand)
Benidryll at nite occassionally

Sleep & Nerves
Amitriptiline

Plus malox and tylenol when needed. So you see, I am on a lot of meds, some which are HART (highly active anti-viral treament regimine) and others are for the side effects, nerve damage from the early meds, and the stomach problems.

My viral load has climed slightly, to around 80,000 which is not too bad, but the CD4, which had risen dramatically at first has leveled off right back where I was in the beginning of the trial , which is around 350 on average.
